Jane Blackmore and Anna Stichbury are successful New Zealand painters who will be on hand to share some of the tips and techniques they learnt since they first began painting, 20 years ago.

Anna Stichbury will be giving interactive demonstrations of techniques she employs in her art practice including silk screen printing and gold leaf application. Anna has exhibited throughout New Zealand and overseas. Her paintings have been published in a range of New Zealand art calendars, diaries and in the book, ‘New Zealand‘s favourite artists’.

Jane Blackmore has been a highly regarded entrant to the Wellington Art Show for the last 5 years. She will talk about her experiences exhibiting at art shows and offer some advice about how to make the most of the opportunities presented. Jane spent her formative years in Nelson where she completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts. As well as being an award winning artist, she is an art teacher specialising in oil painting.
